Mechanical
Design /
Contract Engineer
A strong technical and mechanical bias coupled with sound commercial
awareness will help you thrive in this role, where piping and vessel
design experience, an appreciation of skids, pumps and controls are
preferred. The position is Derbyshire based with the possibility of
worldwide travel.
Responsible to the Engineering Manager, duties comprise
the execution
of contracts from quote to commissioning including design, approval,
technical materials procurement, monitoring equipment assembly and
documentation. Candidates will ideally be qualified to HNC or HND level
in Mechanical Engineering, although equivalent experience with the
capability of 3-D modelling is acceptable.
This role demands computer literacy, excellent
communication and
analytical skills, self-motivation, creativity and resourcefulness as
well as the ability to work as part of a team. In return we offer
